In January-February of this year, around 1.1 mln. tons of oil was processed in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.
According to the Ministry, in January-February of 2023, around 1.1 mln. tons of oil was processed in Azerbaijan. Thus, the oil refining indicator has not changed in January-February of the current year compared to the previous year.
Remind that last year around 6.5 mln. tons of oil was processed in Azerbaijan, which is 4.84% more than the previous year.
Note that oil in Azerbaijan is being processed at the Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev, whose foundation was laid in 1953. The plant fully meets the republic's demand for oil products. Currently, reconstruction and modernization works are being carried out at the refinery.
