"Azerbaijan is planning to produce approximately 48 billion cubic meters of gas this year and roughly half of it will be directed to export," Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov during the press conference on the the results of the 10th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and the 2nd Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, it is planned to export approximately 24 bcm of gas from the country to Georgia, Türkiye and European countries this year.
The Minister also noted that a certain increase in gas exports is expected this year.
