The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has started supplying natural gas directly to social consumers in Bulgaria's Ruse province in collaboration with the M-Gaz company, APA-Economics reports.
The main beneficiary of the "hybrid gasification" pilot project, jointly carried out by SOCAR, M-Gaz, and the Ruse municipality is the St. Cyril and Methodius primary school located in the village of Nikolovo, Ruse municipality, which the SOCAR has undertaken the responsibility of supplying the necessary volume of natural gas.
In the coming months, another 10 schools and kindergartens in Ruse province are expected to receive natural gas from SOCAR. This project will help reduce carbon emissions and energy costs in Ruse.
