"A large delegation has come from the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan to observe the snap presidential elections held in Azerbaijan," Member of the Mazhilis of Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sarym Aidos told APA.
Sarym Aidos emphasized that there is great interest in elections in Azerbaijan: "People were standing in long queues to participate in the elections. This is the first historical election held after Azerbaijan's territorial integrity was restored. People understand that the country will take a step into a new stage of development. This is why they are hopeful to the future. The people understand that the territories that have been under occupation for 30 years must be developed, this is why they are trying to have the voting held worthily."
