The world must come to an agreement on climate change, Achim Steiner, administrator of the UN Development Program, said at a panel discussion held within the XI Baku Global Forum, APA reports.
According to him, the countries of the world undertake certain obligations in this regard every 5 years, but the countries must also adjust their national priorities in this regard to reality.
He said that each country should prepare a plan of steps according to its finances in relation to climate change.
"The COP29 event to be held in Baku this year will make a significant contribution to the steps to be taken regarding climate change," Achim Steiner said during his speech.
