COP29, which will be be hosted by Azerbaijan, will create new opportunities for us, said Dennis Francis, President of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, during his speech at the XI Global Baku Forum, APA reports.
“I believe that COP29 will be hold successfully, I think that ambitious proposals will be put forward. It will be new page for the solution of climate change. In order to preserve the future of the planet, we must not spare our suggestions. I believe that everyone will share their own experiences, knowledge. COP29 will bring the transformation we need. It will be a road map for the fateful issues before us. I once again express my gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan for hosting the platform where important dialogues take place,” – he said.
