"Today, Azerbaijan has gained successes in foreign policy," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov as he delivered a speech at the diplomacy week aimed at increasing the awareness of students studying in the fields of international relations and diplomacy jointly organzied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University, APA reports.
"Azerbaijani Chairmanship to the Non-Aligned Movement has been called an exemplary Chairmanship. The increase of interest in this organization, new members getting an observer status, creation of new institutions under it and 120 countries agreeing to the extension of Azerbaijani Chairmanship by one more year during the Chairmanship of Azerbaijan is an example of succesful Chairmanship," the Minister stressed.
Azerbaijani Minister reminded that the approval to host another important international event - COP29 in Azerbaijan these days is proof of the increase in Azerbaijan's trust and the strengthening of the country's reputation.
