During his official visit to Türkiye, Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, APA reports.
Asadov conveyed President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s greetings to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Prime Minister Asadov presented a letter of invitation from President Ilham Aliyev to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan in November.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the successful development of brotherly and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all sectors and discussed the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas.

“Today we will be received by the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” said Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan at the press conference held following meeting of Türkiye-Azerbaijan Joint Economic Commission, APA reports.
Prime Minister said that on behalf of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the letter of invitation to COP-29 will be submitted to the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
