The agenda of negotiations on final documents expected from COP29 has been clarified, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) Lead Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev said at the first press conference of the COP29 Presidency held today for journalists, APA reports.
He stated that Azerbaijan approaches the negotiation process with all participating parties with transparency, inclusivity, and neutrality within the framework of mandate of hosting the conference. It was noted that the main topics of COP29 negotiations, including climate finance, are being discussed comprehensively with all parties, and active work is being carried out on possible solutions towards successful outcomes of the negotiations.
