Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. “The unilateral restrictive measures applied by the U.S., the European Union, Japan and Australia against Russia are illegal. Using ultimatums and sanctions against Russia is unpromising. Such pressures do not only result in economic harm, but also threatens global security”, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, APA reports.
Putin called on the West to eliminate the threats and look for mutually agreeable decisions instead: “Our response has always been balanced and will be”.
The Russian president noted that heads of western companies operating in Russia are concerned about the sanctions and have said they are ready to continue cooperation: “We hope sound logic will win”.
