Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan hold phone conversation

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation, says the statement issued by the Kremlin, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

The statement says that they discussed the urgent issues on the international agenda, Syrian crisis and the situation in Egypt and stressed the importance of mutual activity of the international community for preventing further escalation of the tension in the Middle East.

Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed to hold a meeting of Russia-Turkey High-Level Cooperation Council and continue the dialogue at the upcoming G-20 summit in St. Petersburg.
