Baku-APA. On October 9, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich made a phone call to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
V. Yanukovich has congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on a vivid victory in the presidential elections and wished success in his activity for the welfare of the people of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev also expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian President.
The Presidents also noted that friendly relations between two states are developing successfully and expressed their confidence that these relations will develop also in future.
