Baku – APA. The trial of Russian soldier Valery Permyakov accused of murdering 7 members of the Avetisyan family began in 102nd Russian Military Base in Gymri.

The legal successors of the Avetisyan family claim that Permyakov is a “satanist”, Armenpress reported.

They declared during the court session that a group of “satanists” was opened on “Odnoklassniki” social networking site in 2013 and Permyakov was also a member of the group. By killing several family members, Permyakov, according to the lawyers, “handed” several men and women to his “Lord”, of which he had previously posted on the abovementioned group.

Lawyers offered to conduct an investigation in this regard, but the investigator rejected it.

As public prosecutor said that he is unaware of relevant materials, court decided to consider the case in the next hearing.

As reported earlier, six members of the Avetisyan family were shot dead on January 12, 2015. Six-month-old baby boy was wounded, but died in the hospital on January 19. Valery Permyakov, a serviceman of the 102nd Russian Military Base in the city, has confessed his guilt.
