Some details emerge of murder of city mayor in Russia

According to preliminary information, Amiran Giorgadze, a local businessman engaged in construction of facilities in the Krasnogorsk district, came to Karaulov’s office on October 19 . They talked for a while, then Karaulov invited to the office director of the “Krasnoqorsk electric network”, co-owned by Giorgadze. Then they began to argue with each other.

During the argument, Giorgadze asked Karaulov’s secretary to call his personal driver to the office. According to witnesses, that person entered the room with a big bag in his hand. According to investigators, Giorgadze took a gun out of the bag and attempted to shoot but the gun did not work. Then he shot the deputy mayor and the head of the city’s electric network, killing both.

Investigative actions are underway to capture the suspects.
