In his interview with Pozner Tv show, Serzh Sargsyan said that the Armenians are concerned over Russia’s arms supplis to Azerbaijan, Novosti-Armenia reported.
Sargsyan said he had repeatedly discussed this matter with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that the sale of Russian weapons to Azerbaijan has psychological effects for the Armenians.
“Armenian soldiers and servicemen think that they are being fired from Russian-made weapons. This is a complex matter. I am sure that the Russian General Staff and leadership know very well what the imbalance of forces can lead to. I hope that the leadership has considered everything,” he stressed.
