The Russian FM pledged to do all he can for the murderer to get the most severe punishment.
“What’s important is that the murderer has been arrested, and already interrogated. Investigation into the criminal case and the trial will be conducted in an unbiased manner in the territory of Armenia. I’m confident the court will sentence the criminal to a deserved punishment,” he added.
Speaking of possible impact of the incident on Russia-Armenia relations, Sergei Lavrov said Moscow would do its utmost to punish the criminal the way he deserves. “We’ll try to make sure such incidents do not happen again. I’m sure Russia-Armenia strategic partnership will not be affected by this incident”.
