According to information, on January 20, several Russian fighter aircrafts and IL-76 cargo aircraft will fly over Tbilisi. The expert said that the flight has been agreed with the Georgian authorities.
The expert said that similar flight was operated on January 10, the Russian aircrafts and cargo plane, flying from the south of Georgia to the north, made a short-term landing in Erebuni military airdrome of Armenia for refueling.
Aladashvili stated that Russian warplanes will attend an event in Bahrain to demonstrate international flights and will return through the same route on January 20.
These are the first flight of Russian warplanes over Georgia since August, 2008.
