According to him, Permyakov told the investigation that he left the unit to walk in the town and entered Avetisyan's house, asked for a cup of water and then committed the crime.
The details of the crime are unknown; additional information is unavailable. According to preliminary information, the murder was committed because of dispute.
Deputy chief of Armenia’s Investigation Committee Vaan Arutyunyan told news.am that Permyakov met with the resistance of the occupants as he broke into their home and hence he shot them all to death with an automatic rifle.
“Permyakov admitted that when he turned to the baby the automatic rifle didn’t work. So the murderer decided to kill the baby with the rifle butt. Fortunately, the baby survived the incident,” he added.
Note that, those killed are the family’s head Seryozha Avetisyan, his spouse Asmik, daughter Aida, son Armen and his spouse Araks and their one year and eight month-old baby Asmik Avetisyan. Six-month-old Seryozha Armenovich who survived the incident has been hospitalized with stub wounds. The baby’s condition is critical after the operation.
