Threats to “punish” Russia for its principled position on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis that have been coming from Washington “are aggrieving not only because those who are so enthusiastically arguing on this subject simply lack elementary knowledge of history,” Lukashevich said.
“What is worse is that these American politicians and state figures seem to lack a sense of adequate appreciation of the real state of things in the swiftly changing multi-polar world of the 21st century,” he stressed.
