Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Restrictive sanctions against Turkey will be lifted gradually, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.
He said sanctions will be lifted without cause loss to Russian companies and partners established in the Russian market.
“On the instructions of the Russian president, proposals have to be developed in order for the current decision to be changed. We are going to carry out the government’s decision on a gradual basis,” he said.
On June 29, the Russian and Turkish presidents had a talk on the phone. Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to lift sanctions imposed against Turkey on tourism and other areas.
