Russia's anti-crisis plan must be more than just paper – Putin

Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Russian President Vladimir Putin was quoted as saying in the meeting on Friday that it was not clear how the country would implement the government's anti-crisis plan, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

 

“The plan needed to be more than just paper”, said the President.

 

Speaking about the anti-crisis plan, Putin said that diversification of the economy, creation of a favorable business climate and harmonization of stability and macroeconomic indicators in the exchange market were discussed.

 

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Assistant to the President Andrei Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev, Chief of Central bank Elvira Nabiullina, member of Central Bank’s Board of Directors Sergei Ignatiev, Chairman of Sberbank Herman Gref and former Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin also attended the meeting.
