Russia’s State Duma receives one more bill on migrants

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. One more bill that will complicate the situation of migrants has been submitted to the State Duma of Russia. APA reports that the new bill has been developed by deputies of Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Igor Lebedev and Yaroslav Nilov. The newly-developed draft law envisages the deportation of migrants, who violate the law.

 

According to the current legislation, migrants, who violate the law in Russia, face fines or administrative liability.

 

Along with punishment, the authors of the new bill also propose the forced deportation of migrants, who violate the law.

 

Earlier, the Communist Party of Russia submitted the bill that will complicate the situation of migrants to the State Duma. This bill envisages the abolishment of the current rules on simplified system of employment of migrants in the country.

 

According to authors of the bill, except for citizens of Belarus and Kazakhstan, the citizens of post-Soviet states, who have entered the territory of Russia without a visa, are to obtain working visa on a common basis.
