Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. “Russia’s military base in Armenia is the guarantor of stability in the Caucasus”, Deputy Defence Minister of Russia Anatoli Antonov said after meeting between Russian and Armenian defence ministers.
According to him, they also discussed training of personnel for Armenian armed forces in Russia: “Currently, 203 armenian servicemen are educating in 24 educational institutions of Russian Defence Ministry. More 211 servicemen will be admitted this year”.
Antonov also noted that preparation for signing of agreement to create the united troop consisting of Russian and Armenian armies is about to be completed.
