Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Turkey’s ban on sales of tour packages to Turkey will be for a long term, Oleg Safonov, head of Russian state tourism agency Rostourism, told reporters on Monday.
The ban was imposed as there is a high threat of terrorist attack in Turkey, Safonov said.
“It’s not known how long the presidential decree will be effective. The presidential decree is of indefinite duration. Unfortunately, the factor of terrorist threat lasts long. So we passed this decision taking into account this factor,” he noted.
