Baku-APA. Moscow and Kiev will continue talks on the Russian natural gas supplies to Ukraine and gas transit via its territory to Europe as there is no final solution to the issue yet, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Friday, APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS.
Novak together with Alexey Miller, the CEO of the Russian energy giant Gazprom, held talks behind the closed doors with Ukrainian Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan on Friday in Italy’s Milan on the sidelines of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit.
“There will be more (meetings),” Novak said after the meeting in Milan, but refused to give any further details.
Prodan also said that the talks would continue, noting that “we are in the process of negotiations,” and declined to comment further.
