“If the Ukrainian government is interested in cooperation with Russian industry and sticks to the course of structural reforms, the programme of financial aid will not be wound down,” he said. “We mean that whatever government is formed in Ukraine, we shall promote our agenda, the agenda of the reset of the Ukrainian economy. If Ukraine’s new government has a different position, the Russian government will consider this issue, report to the Russian president and watch the development of the situation.”
“Do not invent anything - I think our position is absolutely clear, stable and transparent: if Ukraine’s government is interested in cooperation with Russian industry, in the development of economic relations with Russia and if they continue structural reforms, we will support this agenda, we will support such government and will not wind down our assistance programme,” he summarized.
