"The presidential elections in Ukraine were organized and held in accordance with the international obligations and democratic electoral standards, including obligations and standards of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Council of Europe, as well as Ukraine's national legislation, regulations and procedures developed by the Ukrainian Central Election Committee," GUAM monitors said in a statement, APA reports quoting National Radio Company of Ukraine.
GUAM monitors were satisfied with elections organization and work of committees, while issues existing could not affect election results. “The elections were held in the spirit of competition and can be assessed positively as free and fair generally," the statement said.
