Baku – APA. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law on the National Police, the presidential press service reported on Tuesday, APA reports quoting Ukraine Today.
According to the document, the National Police is a central executive body serving the society by ensuring protection of human rights and freedoms, counteracting crime, supporting public order security and order.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Poroshenko admits appointment of a foreigner to the post of the National Police head. He reminded that American specialists were involved in establishment of a new structure.
