Baku – APA. Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan on Thursday dropped a hint at the National Assembly Armenia’s choice of acquiring weaponry remains restricted only to Russia, Armenia’s Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.
Seyran Ohanyan addressed the issue when asked by a group of lawmakers why the country does not expand its geography of weapons suppliers.
The minister reportedly answered that Russia does not allow Armenia to buy arms and ammunition from any other country. According to the paper, he said that Armenia, which has always purchased weaponry from Russia, is not planning to revise that policy for now.
