Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloghlu – APA. The National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) dropped remarks on the management of ANS Radio over playing and promoting the Armenian songs regularly in music program "The Caucasus top 20" (Qafqaz top 20), NTRC chairman Nushiravan Maharramli told APA.
Maharramli said that he gave instruction to the employee of the NTRC to contact with the management of the radio in this regard: “I instructed him to clarify the issue, playing such songs in radio is unacceptable, as it is playing with people's feelings. Unfortunately, the answer of the management of ANS Radio was very regrettable.”
Maharramli noted that Azerbaijan and Armenia are in a state of war and we need to be careful in this matter: “ANS CM’s logic “Culture has no boundaries” is not right. With this logic we should broadcast Armenian films, sell its products and exhibit Armenian artists’ works in Azerbaijan. This logic does not meet the current time. We hope that the conflict between the two countries will end with Azerbaijan’s victory. And only after it, let them listen to Armenian music as much as they want. There are some issues which are regulated by law. Azerbaijan and Armenia are in a state of war. There are some issues that are regulated by law”.
