Mourners pay last respects to Russian politician Boris Nemtsov - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Baku – APA. The funeral for Russian politician Boris Nemtsov, who was killed on February 28, was held in Moscow, APA reported citing RIA Novosti.

The funeral ceremony was attended by Deputy PM, Government Chief of Staff of the Russian Federation Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy PM Arkady Dvorkovich, press attaché to the Russian PM Natalia Timakova, Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov, Rosnano Chairman Anatoly Chubais, Head of Rosatom Sergei Kiriyenko, Sberbank Chairman German Gref, Alfa Group’s partner Mikhail Fridman, Nemtsov party companions – leaders of RPR-Parnas Mikhail Kasyanov and Ilya Yashin, State Duma deputy Dmitry Gudkov, one of the founders of the Yabloko Party Grigory Yavlinsky, former chairman of the Soyuz Pravykh Sil Party Irina Khakamada, former Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin, late president Boris Yeltsin’s wife Naina Yeltsina and his daughter, former British Prime Minister John Major, British ambassador Tim Barrow, US ambassador John F. Tefft and EU ambassador to Russia Vigaudas Usackas.

Though the funeral ceremony lasted from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, not all have time to say goodbye to Nemtsov. A long queue formed outside the Sakharov center. Mourners chanted the slogan “Heroes do not die!”. Nemtsov will be buried at Moscow's Troyekurovskoye Cemetery.
