Motive behind Boris Nemtsovâ€™s death revealed - <span style="color: red;">VÄ°DEO

Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. The motive behind the killing of prominent Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov has been found out.

The politician was murdered because of his negative statements about Islam and Muslims, APA’s correspondent to Moscow reported.

Zaur Dadayev, detained on suspicion of Boris Nemtsov’s murder, has admitted the reason, a law enforcement authority source said.

Russia's Investigative Committee said it has detained 5 persons – Hamzat Bakhayev, Tamerlan Asgarkhanov, Shahid Gubashev, Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev – as suspects of Nemtsov’s death. On March 8, the Basman District Court put them in pretrial detention. It is not clear under what articles they are charged.

Despite Dadayev confessed he has committed the killing, he did not agree with the detention of the other 4 persons.

Note that, Boris Nemtsov was killed with a firearm in downtown Moscow on the night of February 27.

At the time the incident took place, Ukrainian photo model Anna Duritskaya was along with the politician.
