Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke in a telephone conference call.
APA reports quoting 1TV.RU that the leaders exchanged views on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass region of Ukraine.
They agreed to call another round of Ukraine peace talks this week. It said the leaders emphasized "the paramount importance of guaranteeing a ceasefire in the future, an agreement on a line of demarcation for the sides, the removal of heavy weapons and the activation of prisoner exchanges." The Kremlin also stressed the importance of providing assistance to the population of the east and take steps to normalize the economic situation there.
