“Yanukovich reacts inadequately to the situation. Yanukovich is incapable of realistic analysis of what has been happening in the country,” Klitschko said thus making it clear the negotiations on improving the situation in the country had failed.
During the meeting Yanukovich said “leaders of the opposition should call on people in Maidan (Independence Square) to stop the confrontation and fold the arms.”
After the meeting with the president, Klitschko headed for the Independence Square in central Kiev, where unrest and fires continue.
