“I call on all the commercial companies with offices in central districts to announce if possible February 19 a day off or to minimise the staff on the day,” head of the municipal administration Vladimir Makeyenko said.
He explained the measures by the current situation in the city.
Makeyenko asks Kiev’s residents for support and understanding of the measures the administration has undertaken for security reasons. He stressed all actions the authorities have been undertaking “are aimed at safety of people and regular functioning of the city.
