Russian President Vladimir Putin said this at the annual briefing in Moscow in response to reporter of Dozhd TV Channel Kseniya Sobchak’s question “Ramzan Kadirov has stated that Russian laws do not work in the territory of Chechnya, noting that the relatives of those involved in terrorist acts will be punished. Will you support these people?”.
The Russian president said that he understands the Chechen leader’s emotional speech, adding that this is what the Chechen community is expecting from him. Nevertheless, Putin said Kadirov has no right to speak this way.
