Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Moscow will host the 39th meeting of the Council of Heads of National Security Enforcement Agencies and Special Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will host the heads of delegations taking part in the meeting, the Kremlin’s press service said in a statement on Oct.27.
During the meeting, the parties will discuss key aspects of anti-terrorism activity on the territory of CIS countries, and matters of combating terrorist organizations and groups that have received training in Syria and Afghanistan.
The CIS Council of Heads of National Security Enforcement Agencies and Special Services was established under the decision of the CIS Council of Heads of State dated 28 March 1997.
