Baku. Ulker Bekirli – APA. Two more blazes have been extinguished in the Republic of Khakassia.
The fires, raging across 10 ha area, posed threat to the residents nearby.
Firefighters are struggling to put out the fire in 24-ha forest in the vicinity of Erbinski village.
The forest management department said the new fire too was caused by the burning of dry grass, adding that law enforcement agencies and the Emergencies Ministry’s Khakassia office are working together to find those guilty.
Note that, 32 forest fires overall occurred this year in Khakassia, burning down a forest strip as large as 183,000 hectares.
