Entries of presidential palace and government building in Kiev under opposition control

Baku – APA. Demonstrators, who were holding a rally at Kiev’s Independence Square, resumed picketing outside the Cabinet of Ministers early today, APA reports quoting “Interfaks-Ukraina”. About 200 protesters took control over the entrance of the President's Office building on Grushevski st. They are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. The law enforcement officers took control over the other entrance of the building. The Cabinet of Ministers is planning to hold a meeting today.


The activists continue to control the entrances of the Presidential Administration building on Kiev's Bankovaya st.


The activists continue joining self-defense detachments at the Independence Square. The detachments have already had 2800 members. They are training against the attacks of the Berkut (the special police unit). Demonstrators have started to pitch army tents outside Kiev Mayor’s Office, Trade House, October Palace, as well as at the square.
