Baku-APA. Collective peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) should be ready for possible peacekeeping operations in "hot spots" of the world, SCTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
"The situation is tense in all directions and in many "hot spots" in the world that now exist, today clearly shows that it is necessary the use of peacekeeping forces. Therefore, development of practical combat mission of collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO during the exercise is preparing for the possible operations. I do not think they will be in the near future, but, in any case, the CSTO should be ready to apply the peacekeeping force"- said in the statement of the CSTO.
Note that Nikolai Bordyuzha is participating at the "Indestructible Brotherhood 2015" military exercises of CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces are conducted in Armenia's "Baghramyan" military training center from September 30 to October 4.
Collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO during exercises conducts practical actions for ensuring peace in the Caucasus region.
