Names of Azerbaijanis on board of sunken trawler in Sea of Okhotsk revealed - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Azerbaijanis who were among the crew members are as follows, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA on April 2.

 

Safarov Mahammad Safar oglu (born in 1964), Talibov Mailaga Ulduz oglu (born in 1964), Maharramov Muradali Gurban oglu (born in 1987), Aliyev Elman Sardan oglu (born in 1964), Shakirov Fazil Bilal oglu (born in 1959), Aliyev Yashar Sardan (born in 1975) and Sadigov Yashar Sardan oglu (born in 1969).

 

M. Talibov, E. Aliyev, I. Sadigov and A. Yashar have managed to survive the sunken trawler, while there is no information about the others.

 

Elman Aliyev and Yashar Aliyev are reportedly brothers.

Baku – APA. There were Azerbaijanis among crew members of Dalny Vostok trawler sank late Wednesday in the Sea of Okhotsk.

 

The Dalniy Vostok freezer trawler had 132 people on board when it sank, 78 of them was Russian nationals, as well as 54 foreign nationals.  117 were rescued from the water. 54 crew members died and the fate of the remaining 15 was unknown.

 

Survivors are in serious and some in very serious condition due to freezing.

 

Number and name of Azerbaijani crew members haven’t been revealed yet.

 

Dalny Vostok trawler with a carrying capacity of 5.7 tons is 104 meters in length, 16 m in width.
