All this incidents were raised on a hysterical level by Russian press", said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu in his interview to “Dozhd” channel, APA reports.
Polad Bulbuloglu noted that the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moscow prepares note to the Russian Foreign Ministry demanding to allow consular officers of the Azerbaijani Embassy to meet Orkhan Zeynalov. The note will be sent on October 17.
Zeynalov is suspected of killing 25 -year-old Egor Shcherbakov. The murder triggered riots in the south of Moscow.
We will demand for consular assistance
Azerbaijani Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Egor Shebakov: "Unfortunately, there is a connection of Azerbaijani in this incident. If Azerbaijani citizen is guilty, the court will determine. Everything written before the Court does not make any sense. In connection with the Eid al-Adha, two days are holidays. Tomorrow, we will send a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. We will demand for consular assistance for a person, who is suspected of murder. Advocate should be allowed to meet him and if there is a need, he should be provided with a translator. Everything must go in the legal field," - said the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Moscow Polad Bulbuloglu.

Polad Bulbuloglu also added that Orkhan Aslanov was not the wanted in Azerbaijan for any crime as it was said on Russian Mass Media.

If murder suspect Zeynalov worked for aerospace factory, then would they close that factory?! It is clear that, the people living around fruit and vegetable bazaar are worried. But, to connect it with domestic murder case is not correct. I do not want to defend Zeynalov absolutely. In case of his guilt is proven, he will get a worthy punishment. Such domestic murders happen everyday, even each hour in big cities. To make hysteria from this is not correct. I can bring you a folder, consisting of names of Azerbaijanis killed by Russians on domestic reasons. But we are not doing it! Don’t Russians kill Russians?! There is not a need to turn these incidents into the national issue. Unfortunately, it happens. It is not right to raise the incidents on the level of the states. As an Ambassador, I cannot interfere internal affairs of Russia. But I would like to say that “Pokrov” fruit and vegetable baze functions for 40 years. Doesn’t anybody see that rubbish is not removed and other shortcomings till now? Let Migration service be engaged in this issue! If they want to apply a visa regime, please do it. I presume that somebody has business interests here. Obviously, this baze will be closed. Then they will build something in this territory. This is not my business and I would not like to talk about it.
Why did riots begin 3 days after the murder?
The Ambassador also expressed his opinion about riots after the murder in West Biryulevo : " The murder took place on October 10. But the unrest began after 3 days. Most of those arrested during the incidents in the area of Biryulevskaya are not residents of this area, they are from other areas. Why do people from other regions put their heads under the batons of OMON? Can normal person do it? For this, one should be instructed and motivated. It means that the event was important to the third power. They want to quarrel relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. If you ask as a politician, it was a response to Putin's visit to Azerbaijan. It was done in order to create tension in the relations between two countries and peoples. I want to say in advance that it will not work"
