Baku – APA. Australian government will consider banning uranium exports to Russia as part of a new stage of sanctions against the country, said Australia's Finance Minister Mathias Cormann, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
"We are considering what other action we can sensibly take in terms of further increasing the level of sanctions imposed on Russia and all these matters will be part of a proper and considered discussion before we make a decision," Cormann said.
Australia's Foreign Minister Julie Bishop mentioned earlier that uranium sanctions against Russia were possible.
