Baku – APA. Kyrgyzstan hopes to complete the accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) by 9 May 2015, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev told reporters following the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow on 23 December, APA reports quoting Belarus News.
The participants of the summit signed the documents on Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty. The documents set forth clear-cut and distinct guidelines for Kyrgyzstan's accession to the union. Thus, Almazbek Atambayev assumed that Kyrgyzstan will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory being part of the EEU.
“We have knowingly chosen the path of integration, good neighborliness and friendship,” Almazbek Atambayev noted.
