6 members of family shot in Armenia and Russian serviceman suspected of murder named - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Baku – APA. 6 members of a family shot in Armenia and Russian serviceman suspected of committing the murder have been named.

APA reports quoting Armenian media that Sonna Truzyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Investigation Committee issued statement in this regard.

She said that boots of Valery Permyakov, serviceman of the 102nd Russian military base dislocated in Gyumri, were found from the scene.

The killed persons are Seryoja Avetisyan, his wife Asmik, daughter Aida, son Armen, his wife Araks and their 1 year 8 months old child Asmik Avetisyan. Alive six-month-old Seryoja Armenovich Avetisyan was hospitalized with stab wounds. The baby underwent surgeon and is reportedly in critical condition.

The deceased family’s neighbor said that they heard the sound of explosion or fire at 06:20. Their bodies were found by the home owner's sister.

Commander of the Russia's military base Andrey Ruzinsky arrived on the scene.

Baku – APA. The gunman who shot 6 members of a family has turned out to be a serviceman, said Sonna Truzyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Investigation Committee, APA reports citing Armtoday.

According to her, the gunman has shot 6 members of a family in a flat on Myasnikyan Str. A six-month-old baby was hospitalized in critical condition: “We obtained information of the serviceman had deserted the military unit. His name and surname are written on a pair of boots found at the site”.

Ashot Kurginyan, director of an Austrian hospital in Gumru, said the baby has stab wounds, and was found lying next to the mother’s body. The murderer might have thought the baby was dead.

Search for the armed murderer continues. The serviceman of Russia’s 102th military base in Armenia is the suspect.
