38 percent of Russian population think unemployment rate likely to rise - poll

According to the All Russian Center for Public Opinion Studies (VTsIOM), 28 percent of the population think that 2015 will be far more harder than 2014, APA correspondent to Moscow reports.

Another 23 percent suppose 2015 will be less difficult compared to 2014.

32 percent of the respondents think the economic situation in the country will be even worse in 2015. The poll also made it clear that 38 percent of the Russian population expect the unemployment rate is likely to rise. 44 percent believes the gap between the rich and the poor will widen.

The center’s report also says 30 percent expect the scope of corruption will grow in 2015, 9 percent thinks it will shrink, while another 47 percent maintains that nothing will change in this regard.
