The swearing in of a new president is being held in Grand Kremlin Palace.
The swearing-in ceremony that’s attended by 2,600 guests began with the bringing of the national flag of Russia, the flag of the Russian president and the country's constitution from the Georgievsk and Aleksandrovsk halls of the Grand Kremlin Palace to the Andreyevsk hall, where the swearing-in ceremony will be held. Later, the Chairman of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, the Speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and the Chairman of the Constitutional Court took the stage.
Putin has left his office in the first building of the Kremlin to Andreysvk Hall, where the swearing-in ceremony will be held.
Security measures were taken in the center of Moscow in connection with the inaguration ceremony held in the Kremlin Palace.
There were problems with mobile communication in the central regions.
