Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev claimed on Wednesday that the United States is trying to destroy Russia and China and warned that, if it succeeded in its goals, it would cause a global collapse and possibly even a "large nuclear explosion."
Medvedev accused Washington of targeting Russia and trying to "humiliate, limit, divide and destroy" it ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union and claimed China would likely be its next target.
"And then there are only a couple of steps left before a severe global crisis, an energy and food collapse, the failure of all collective security systems and, soon, a large nuclear explosion, opening the way to a new universal singularity - to the underworld," the Russian official wrote in a Telegram
