"UNESCO can keep quiet," said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at the briefing today while commenting on the statement of the UNESCO director-general on Ukraine's territorial integrity, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
Russian Diplomat accuses UNESCO of not acting in accordance with its mandate.
"UNESCO has preferred to issue a politicized statement where it should keep quiet. In addition, they are able to remain silent (attitude to humanitarian events in Donbas region of Ukraine over the recent 9 years is considered - red)," has said Zakharova and sharply criticized UNESCO.
