Last night, two unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) violated Moldova's airspace, APA reports, citing the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The statement states that the country's airspace was temporarily closed for more than an hour as an emergency measure due to the direct threat to flight safety posed by the UAVs. For this reason, two passenger planes that were supposed to land in Chisinau were diverted to Bacau Airport in Romania.
According to the report, operational information confirmed that both drones left the national airspace and entered Ukrainian territory.
